3G will be s**t for everyone because of the way it works. GSM (2G) works on
bandwidth so basically you have a signal or not, but it can be really really slow if you're using data (GPRS). But 3G works on power meaning the more people use it, the less power the mast has to transmit the signal, and therefore the coverage radius around the mast shrinks, giving you dead spots.
In NL this year we're rolling out special 3G coverage extenders in all the major football stadiums.
