As long as you know the wireless password and name of your network - which you ought to.

As far as I remember you disconnect your computer from your wifi network, plug the booster in, somewhere in range, locate it's own wifi network, join it with standard credentials, go to an admin page (all the details are in the instructions) and tell it the name and password of your router's wifi network. It then boots you off its wifi, and couples with the network you gave it the details of - then you just rejoin your main network as usual.
