Itunes uses the most crippling codec ever.
Exact Audio Copy with LAME codec, Etymotic phones with the new Sony walkman - 50+ hours of playback and 40gb. Not bad for a hard drive, better than the 10 you get with apple s**t.
AND you can change the drive yourself, tery that with Apple
