I would argue that southampton, swansea, sunderland, stoke are "more" rivals to us these days than ipswich.

Its about beating those around you, its about league places/survival than simple geography. Ipswich fans look to the past, we look to the future - and ipswich dont figure in that one bit. They are nothing to us but a historic one time local rival in the days when the old first division was a level playing field. Today its not, football is a business and only well run businesses get to be and stay in the prem. They are not a well run business and their fans can only watch black and white betamax videos of a time when ANY club had a chance of winning something. Let them w**k over 1978 then wipoe a tear from their eye as they then look at the championship table...........

........then the prem table.
