Coincidence?

In 1994/5, we somehow scrambled to wins against the eventual Champions and two other top 6 sides.

Before Xmas, we were 7th; but we lost our international goalkeeper to a serious injury, and all season long, had struggled to score goals. Now, apart from a miracle win v top 6 opponents which defied logic (Newcastle then, Everton now), home wins became home draws - yet when we beat a side already doomed, despite struggling badly for much of the match, everyone assumed we were safe.

We took one point over the rest of the season, and were relegated, after a collapse which no-one except Norwich fans had seen coming.
