Its a difficult one

I think we will probably finish lower mid table which I think is about right for the squad. The problem for me is how we have played for most of the season. From the position we were in pre-Christmas we really could have finished top 10 and not had to worry about relegation at all but we've been really poor for the last few months. In fact o er the season we've probably only played well in about 4 games and there has been little sign of improvement or development as a team. If anything we've regressed as the season has gone on and I don't think the players have lost their ability. It's been a mental/tactical thing which is why it's been so frustrating at times.

If we were s**t line Reading I would just accept we are s**t but what I find so hard to take is us not making the most of the talent we have and I feel that's been the case for two thirds of the season. Thankfully in the other third we over performed and that looks like saving us.
