They totally f**ked up the Suarez and Evra incident...

... and I thought they'd learnt from that in their swift and proper response in the hours after the Chelsea game last Sunday.

Since then, it's all fallen apart again. Rather than being dignified and accepting what happened was "utterly unacceptable" (their words on Sunday), now Rodgers and others are bleating like little kids being picked on by the playground bully.

"Punishing the individual, not the offence itself"? FFS !!

The FA quite rightly took a harsh stand. The problem that they had was that Suarez had previous of biting... a seven match ban by the Dutch FA. They could hardly then deliver say a three match ban for a repeat offence.

Liverpool are like 1p5wich in so many ways. Desperately clinging on to their history as some sort of comfort blanket, to reassure themselves, because they're a mediocre club now, not even one of the big boys.

Boo hoo it's all so unfair.
