that's really rather a superficial judgement of a striker

since it doesn't take into account other things that strikers do, such as winning the ball back, assists, closing down, holding the ball up etc etc.
Holty proved beyond doubt last season that he is prem standard but he's been poorly served by our formation and attacking intent this season.
A few poor games recently don't mean he's finished by any means although admittedly he'd probably be better if he lost a couple of pounds (stone)
