errm...

thought i've made it clear on EACH post i've made about it that i thought it was in bad taste and bad timing by DB.....

I was once in the Royal Oak on Cheltenham's lower high street (s**tty part of town where no one really goes) - down trodden pub, f**king awful.... went on gold cup week as the royal oak was flying tricolours etc, for the gold cup week.... out came the bucket for "the volunteers in ireland" - when asking to clarify WHICH "volunteers" they got a bit upperty! I said i wouldnt support terrorism and walked out....

so, even in sleepy english towns it used to go on though i'd be surprised if it goes on these days post 9/11....
