I shouldn't have any worries syncing my ipad should I? I've not bothered before

but I probably ought to save my apps and photos and things.

It's just that when ever I sync my phone I get such grief from itunes and it seems to take over my lap top for hours.

Anyone else had any problems I should be aware of?
