We Won't Get That Much Of A Profit On Ashton Either...
What would we have got for him if we had remaimed in the Prem last season and he was scoring goals regularly?
What would we have got for him if we had been in the top 2 of the CCC since the start of this season and he had been scoring regularly?
What will we get for him as a bottom eight side this season, no hope of promotion, and only next years parachute money to bank on now, with him struggling to get anything like the service he had at Crewe?
It'll be a down payment under what we paid for him, plus add on's and incentives etc-we could have driven the deal if we had been in either of the top two possibilities above, as it is, now the buying club will drive it and we won't benefit as much as we could have done.
