Invent spurious reason why Man was a better candidate then Woman, and ensure that plenty of women are hired in other roles (where presumably f**king off for a year to have a baby isn't so much of a problem) so that if anyone goes blabbing about the firms sexist recruitment policies you can point to all these women and say "no, see?"
