Disagreed.
The Prem teams of now would probably hammer the prem teams of 10 years ago, and definitely would hammer those of 20, 30 or 40 years ago, whether because of greater quality or, perhaps more likely, significantly better levels of athleticism.
Therefore surely we can surmise that the level of quality is improving and on average improves each year can't we?
