They were willing to spend fortunes on a striker in January. We have RVW coming in now but Sporting didn't want to let him go until the season's end. We were also after Hooper but Celtic wouldn't let him go. Those were Hughton's targets, if the teams won't let them go then there's not much that the board can do.
Just stop it with you're atrocious pro-Hughton propaganda and actually accept for once that he has some faults.
At least when we criticize him we point out his positive sides such as his transfer record.
