Thing is they don't have to be mutually exclusive. I watched Notlob beating Spurs last night - God knows they lump enough balls into the box.

But they also recognise that to do that, they've got to get near the box first, with the ball under control. So every one of their players, and in particular all their midfielders, can pass.
