Just back from the game.

Afternoon benders.
Just got back from the game. Stayed up overnight in Newcastle. Had a good night out as well. Very friendly lot the Geordies. They liked the fact we'd chosen Newcastle and not Sunderland to stay over on Sunday night!. Not read the board so forgive any WW2isms.

Brief summary.

I thought Bunn's sending off was harsh. I thought it hit his chest (not seen TV yet). Having said that the positive is that Camp did well as sub keeper so looks like another good hire from CH.

Shame about the sending off as I am convinced we would have taken 3pts. Sunderland are totally abject. If you think we are boring and grinding our way to premiership survival you should see Sunderland play.
I am more convinced than ever we will survive as there is no way Sunderland will finish above us and Reading/QPR are already gone IMHO.

Kamara played well as the solo front man. very good at holding up the ball. Quick. And set up Wes goal.

Holty looked even more out of shape than when I last saw him v Southampton. I cant help but feel he will be leaving at he end of the season. Still, he's a legend but needs to shape up a bit physically.
For all teh Holt bashing I cant help think his winner against Everton might be a season defining moment.
