I'd be worried if I was a Sunderland fan
They pretty much got handed an equaliser and a chance to get a desperately needed win against 10 men, and they barely looked like troubling us. Aside from Sessignon's spooned shot (should have done better), they created bugger all in that second half. On top of that, if we should have been awarded a pen and Holty made a Horlicks of a fantastic one-on-one with the keeper - a player in better form would have done better.
Sunderland deserved nothing out of the game today. Given the circumstances I'm happy with a point, but we could have got all three today easily - we were the better team, despite everything going against us.
Fantastic defensive work today, as well. There are times when Hoots' defensive mindset is infuriating, but in the circumstances today it was perfect. We seemed to break a little better at times today - nice work from Benno (aside from that horrendous free kick)
