Ha! It's dull and dispiriting watching our turgid performances at present.

I take no pleasure sitting wet and cold and being snowed on seeing us put in another poor display.

However, it's efficient. It's productive. It will ultimately help us achieve Premier League football again next season.

We have only lost one third of our games this season. Unbeaten in two thirds of our matches!

The pain we're having to endure this season is a transitional phase from the previous regime to Hughton's way of doing things. It ain't pretty, but it's effective.

Moaning about Norwich come rain or shine unfortunately is in the DNA of every City fan. However I deplore the scapegoating of certain players and the current braying for Hughton's head on a stick.

You look as a club to improve every season, to build on firm foundations. We're well placed to do that, but I think with our limited resources, up till now, we've been doing it with one hand tied behind our backs. A ton of cash will be coming in to the club this summer, and that's our chance to buy in some quality.

IF we're still playing turgid football in a year's time, maybe then I'll agree it's time to start worrying and asking serious questions.
