My father was in Bomber Command, Shot

Down and a POW from 43 to 45. When he was 20 he was flying a Halifax over The Rhur, at 22 the war was over. He doesn't see it as a big deal, his generation stood up to do their bit but he does know how lucky he was to survive. Bomber Command losses were VERY high.
