I was stuck in the corner of the GWS today but what a great result.

The Elite League is a tough place and matches like this seem to produce ?glass half empty? views if you lose but if you win your fair share you stay up. We went ten games unbeaten earlier in the season and now we?re on another run of four unbeaten. Prem teams that have these little runs of three or four unbeaten on a regular basis are more than good enough avoid any trouble. It really is a great achievement considering how far away we were before PL dropped in.

Deserved mentions for me today, apart from the obvious KK when he came on, were Bassong and Snodgrass. Bassong looked so assured, a real class act. He didn?t do anything stupid and nipped in to stop many threatening moments before they happened.

Snodgrass has had better games for us, for sure, but I just like the way he kept battling and working and it came good for him in the end. A real lesson to show that good things coming to those who scrap it out no matter what.

All in all a vital win that goes a long way to securing us the big bucks cheque for next year.
