Helveg's performance v Liverpool was (IMO) our best defensive performance last season.

He was absolutely immense - his positioning was near-perfect, his distribution composed and intelligent, and the defence looked far more organised. If he hadn't been playing with Flem, the Doc and Charlie we'd have gotten a lot more out of that match.

And the defence always looked far better with Helveg on it - I think Thomas gave us more than simply what you saw him do with the ball.
