We All Seem to Agree
that Worthington has to go however that still leaves a squad that appears to have a number of players who are less than professional with their attitude toward their job. For f**ks sake these are players recruited by Worthington yet they bite him in the ass when things don,t go their way? Please. Along with Worthy going many players need to be sent a message that fans expect commitment to the shirt no matter who the manager is or where on the pitch they play. Now to my main point. I grow very weary of people on here who talk about shattering a players confidence. Whether a current first team player or a 16 year old these are f**kin professional athletes. 95% of the reason they are here in the first place is that they have an inate confidence that has got them to this level. All this s**t about not playing someone from the youth team cause you'll ruin them is just that, a bunch of s**t. If a player is gonna be ruined cause he gets booed for a bunch of wayward passes then he doesn't have what it takes to make it in the first place. For god's sake get some of the youth players in there and let them show some fight and commitment. Fans will be mostly happy with that. If it overwhelms them they maybe theyre not cut out for this profession in the first place. Send a message to the older players that their spots are not guaranteed and that they're taking the fans for granted. If we're gonna lose at least let's do it with passion. And that includes a certain Mr. Huckerby.
