they do, mostly awful tasteless ones though
there are some good ones in Mexico though, but in S. America Argentina is king of cheeses, due almost entirely to their European heritage.
Chilean cheeses are particularly rubbery and insipid, but I can occasionaly find a strongish one that they've made by mistake.
