I agree - we're missing that spine of players badly

Our problems seem to have started at the start of our Premiership season, after Roberts and Malky (and lets not forget Crichton the reserve GK) all left, which for me ripped out the heart of the spirit of our dressing room. They were also senior pros, with families, who are honest professionals and always give their all. I never saw Malky or Iwan put in a performance as poor as todays.

Even the likes of Holt and Edworthy would be valuable now.

Sadly all of the above are too old to play for us. But we do need players of that ilk back in the squad. Look at Sheff Utd. Their success this season is built on a solid bunch of senior professionals all highly competent at Championship level - no prima donnas. What I'd give for a Neil Shipperly or a Ifill or a Montgomery at this club.
