in the past ive used better battery stats app from play store.

for ?1.74 it shows you the apps and processes and when they're running both on and off screen.

Found it handy identifying issues with my android phones in the past.

I believe an old version of it used to be on XDA forums for free (as its not the most recent one) if you know how to get it and install from there.

Sure there are other battery monitoring apps out there as well you could try
