I agree he seems to change things when he feels his hand is forced

But maybe that's his management style

Observes how things play out and develop before making tactical changes

Isn't that what most smart people do before jumping in with a spontaneous gamble in most walks of life/careers etc?

I do think he leaves subs too late sometimes though, but that's usually because we benefit from hindsight after the event, something managers do not have to fall back on

Lambert gambles, Hughton doesn't

That's how I see it

What's wrong or right will probably become clearer when we see who stays in the prem this year and who doesn't I guess
