Celtic Didn't Want Or Need To Sell Hooper

And he never looked as if he wanted to leave either!

We made it hard enough for West Ham to sign Holt in the Summer. Like Celtic, we didn't want to sell him and didn't need to-unlike Celtic and Hooper however, Holt had asked for a transfer.

West Ham put the bids in, we kept rejecting them-and were credited for playing hardball.

Celtic did the same except their player didn't want to leave and hadn't asked for a transfer.

So what part of a) Celtic didn't want to sell him, b) Celtic didn't need to sell him and c) Hooper hadn't asked to leave do people not understand?

They probably enjoyed the game of putting us repeately in our place mind. To lambast the club for not signing him is wrong-we were never made to think we had a chance of signing him in the first place and they never would have let us buy him anyway. Yes, they might have taken silly money-but its called silly money for a reason and its not because they take it.
