I'm not that bothered about not getting hoops . The higher the price got I got more worried about if he was worth it.
I feel he is a very good younger striker but let's be honest scoring lots of goals against Dundee ( and other such clubs) for Celtic doesn't make you a world beater. Crystal palace or Middlesbrough could spank most of the spl and most of their players wouldn't command a ?8 million fee.
I'm not saying don't get the lad. He deserves a crack at the premier league but I thought ?5 million was the highest I would have valued him at.
