We had a "dangerous fireworks" evening...

at a friends last year. Someone brought along a box of really dodgy assorted fireworks that had your hand off as soon as a match went anywhere near them. Apparently they were purchased in a backstreet Asian store in the Belgrave area of Leicester. I'm certain they didn't conform to the British Firework Standard.
