The Luton loss may be a good thing
It has created a perception that we are in steep decline and we will probably be more willing to pay over the odds for someone just to raise morale.
I reckon we'll slap in a bigger bid for Hooper... but he won't accept until the last day of the window when he realises nobody 'bigger' has come in for him.
There doesn't seem to be much love for Mackie. I'd actually be happy if we did get him. Very hard worker, has an eye for goal and we could treat him as a better quality Jackson.
If we could add those two and Bridcutt it would be a very successful transfer window imo, but no doubt even that wouldn't please most fans.
Let's not kid ourselves though; there is absolutely no chance of Wolfwilly signing
