'Bring me Sunshine............ ..
Well I have finally deceided to put pen to paper as it were.
Luton FC wanted the win, got it and deserved it. The Ex Director, Eric Morcambe must be singing (upstairs in heaven)!
Our second string one would have thought would have wanted to perform..................hoping to get a crack at first team selection, obviously not. So if they can't be bothered why should the Club, ship them out.
Another 'Wrather' said this result was worse than Colchester (pre Lambert) and I agree. We will not live
this one down and it will be shown every year at this stage in the FA Cup, we will just have to take it on the chin.
Now the sting in the tail.
As a Barclay Upper ST holder I have never heard such a lack of vocal support from the fans. We were out sung by Luton so it just wasn't the team that didn't show up it was the fans. Give the snake pit some credit and they tried to get things going.
A lot of the ST holders around me did not attend and I
had a family with three young children. Now I'm the first to encourage youngsters to a match, but the idea of the family picnic they seemed to have planned did not bode well.
During the match she (mum) pushed pass me six times taking one of said young offspring to the loo. Dad spent the whole time on his phone trying to tell people casulaly that he was at the game!
So unfortunately this guy didn't have time to show his support and even if he did he probably does not know the words!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm looking forward to Wednesday and please Nodge players, have some pride
On The Ball City!
