We have gone in with two bids that were considered far too low and didn't make a bid til last week.

We knew we needed a striker in January pretty much since the last window shut and we didn't manage to get one. Why were bids not being submitted on 1st January? Leaving it all to the end of the window now places us under a lot of pressure and in my view has lessened the chances of us getting who we want, in part because we look a bit of a shambles on the pitch which can't help attract good players.
