Angler - I completely agree: "Rome" was a stream of salacious drivel. Brom pointed out it was "a bit like soft porn". Pretty much, yes.
It was the portrayal of ancient Rome that I'd have expected The Daily Sport to make.
Seriously, everyone who's planning to watch the rest of the series : why don't you just rent a glop-vid and a Vin Diesel dvd instead?
