Speaking of ex-girlfriends, here's a topical tale
Years ago my younger brother copped off with a friend of a friend at a party of mine. He was jolly pleased with himself the next morning because she was generally considered to be pretty fit. Enjoying a post-party fry-up in a cafe the next day, one of my mates burst his bubble in spectacular style when he declared: "She looks like Michael Winner."
Twas true. In that instant, in the eyes of every bloke present, my brother included, she transformed from fitster to Winner. He was gutted.
