I`m trying to stay positive

I didn`t post to much yesterday as I didn`t want to appear too knee jerky. For the first time in ages I went to bed thinking about football and woke up this morning thinking about it.

I don`t think we will go down. The unbeaten run gave use some good breathing space. Although we are on a bad run the gap remains at 7 points. There are also teams below us that in my opinion are looking more likely to get relegated, Newcastle and Wigan for starters and QPR are not getting out of the s**t no matter how much money they spunk away.

I totally agree with Yellalee and a few other in regards to negative support having an adverse effect on the players.

I also think Hoots only plays 1 up front because he has little choice. We really only have 1 Premier quality striker in Holt, the others are just not up to it, hence two ?5 million bids. However the formation is not a negative tactic, in fact if can be quite the opposite if the players did their job.

Yes Hoots is a cautious (cautious does not mean negative) manager but I`m sure he didn`t tell the midfield to sit so deep as to be right on top of the back four and leave your striker isolated.

We are on a bad run, we all knew it was going to happen but if we hold our nerve, we will come through this and I believe that come Sunday 19th May we will all wonder what all the fuss has been about.
