We have no strength in depth. It's all very well to criticize Hoots for his team selection

or substitutes, but he must look down the squad list and think "Oh s**t, now what?". I don't feel comfortable with some of Hoots's selections or substitutions, but in reality we all know that we don't have quality to match Liverpool, or even Swansea, WHU, Wigan or Villa. We have a bunch of players who have been big on character, which has made up for their technical deficit. But when, like today, that deficit gets shown up so starkly, who can we turn to? There is no-one. Fox has his qualities, but also major weaknesses: same goes for the other non-playing heroes.
