Unfortunately a very predictable performance
given our penchant for sitting back far too deep and playing for draws away from home.
Getting a bit fed up with it now to be honest. I don;t expect us to go to teams like Liverpool and play them off the park but we could at least go out their with some sort of belief that we can win. When we actually do attack we look vaguely threatening but for most of the half we just sat back and let them knock it about and take pot shots.
Ever since the second half of that bloody west brom game where we could have won but instead let the opposition take the initiative we have never really got any momentum going. Games like this makes our failure to go for the jugular against a woeful Newcastle side at home last week even more damaging.
Put Wes on and play positively for gods sake. Maybe if we can get a goal in the first 20 minutes we can still make this interesting. we are making this Liverpool side look much better then they are.
