Not for the want of trying I should add, but it depends on how much we are willing to try (aka push the boat out a little further than we have ever been used to), who is realistically available and who wants to come here-Graham would have been an excellent aquisition, but wants to go home to the NE by all accounts.

Holt is immovable at the moment when fit and we now know Hughton likes Morison. If Kane was going to be recalled by Spurs I think it would have happened by now. One slot, three strikers-we might just chance it, squeak home and then do some proper shopping in the Summer.

Of course, should the worse happen and we do slip down then, for all the goodwill and popularity the current regime have earnt, then a perceived belief that we did so because of the reluctance to spend some money this month will haunt them big time.
