Re the wages, we are all different but i wonder if you would say that if you were already stinking rich and raking in ?30K a week? Surely there comes a point when you have enough money and its about the right club.

On that front Sunderland would admittedly seem to offer him a chance to be nearer family and his roots but he's been down south for a while now anyway. QPR would probably offer him bigger wages than both us and Sunderland anyway!
