It depends if you believe
Cameron, Clegg & the vast majority of Tory MPs are totally corrupt & only operate with the most venal of motives. Personally I don't. Some do, but I think they're a small minority.
As for ideology, I think the only ideology they are wedded to is that of reality.
Labour can say what they like when in opposition, but as our last two incumbent PMs found out, it's different when you actually have to DO stuff.
