Women's football is fairly big here in Japan
But then they are world champions and silver medalists in the Olympics (I think...)
Not sure there is much outside of international tournies though, i.e. Asia Championship, World Cup, Olympics
They are pretty big celebrities here though, given their recent achievements.
Actually, my friend is daughter of their manager and was in Zurich this week for the Ballon D'Or
