I buy myself a present every xmas

I'm not easy to buy for since I quit music, and tend to be given wacky/zany thingsthat are interesting for a few minutes, so for the past few years I've bought myself something. This year it's a Dobsonian Telescope, 40quid from Aldi, and it's good. I think I need some more lenses though, and a lot of practice: I can't point the thing properly. I've only found one thing smaller (to the eye) than the moon, and that was really fuzzy.

Looking at the moon, though, that's brilliant, worth the 40 sovs by itself. I've seen pics and vids of it countless times, but actually zooming in on it by myself makes it more real somehow. It's exciting, mildly.
