Stuck in a flu-ridden house so just watched season 2003-04 review DVDs...

A few thoughts with 8 years' hindsight:

*What a player Hucks was at that level - totally unstoppable!
*Henderson was a dirty, two-foot challenge git even then...
*In fact there was a lot of studs up naughtiness that would have been straight reds today
*Malky was a hero but I can sort of see why Worthy didn't want to risk him in the Prem
*That said, Worthy was clearly not the greatest defensive organiser ever - but for Greeno we'd have been about fifth!!
*Rivers looked Hucks-like at the start of the season, can't really fathom why he fell so out of favour
*Svenny was pure class
*Forgot Wimbledon were still called Wimbledon even after the move to MK
*Amazing how many opposition forwards ended up at Norwich in the seasons that followed...
*Weird to see smoking in the stands (mostly MWJ!)
*It was a helluva year - for me better than the promo under Lambert just for all the extra drama around Hucks etc
