In their plebgate tee shirts and taking the morale high ground that it left a bad taste in the mouth. Especially as it all happened around the same time as the Hillsborough revelations which they conveniently forgot when taking such umbridge at anyone doubting the word of serving police officers. There are plenty of very good police officers. There are also an awful lot who will lie to cover their own back.

I suspect however that Mitchell must be a real **** for them to have bothered going to this sort of trouble to stitch him up (if it turns out that is what has happened).
