I listened to a Wigan fans' podcast last night. They are extremely optimistic about today.
Their view is they have been playing really well but have been unlucky in several matches and are convinced their luck will turn today.
Part of me thought they were just being ignorant about us but another part of me thought am I being too complacent and naive about assuming we are better than them because we are higher up the table?
I remember them being really good at CR last season and probably unlucky to draw. Also I know we were not as bad as our results in the first 8 games seemed to show.
So I don't mind Lawro's prediction if it keeps our feet on the ground for a bit! I think last week Swansea first half were believing the hype about how good they were and I saw us on Tuesday and with so many changes we looked poor.
