His record on gun control has been as solid as it can be, voting wise, before he came to be President. As President, even the merest noise about gun control sets the NRA off, and he hasn't, for me, pushed hard enough to control guns, no, but I think it is extreme to say he has blood on his hands.

Even if he were to generate the political will to change legislation, he faces, and will face again, a Republican majority in the Senate, which will make it insanely difficult to push something through. It has to be a very gradual process because of the sit-yoo-ay-shun he is in.
