Why can't people apply the same rules of the road
to using a shopping trolley in the supermarket?
1. When driving a car with a queue of traffic behind you, do you suddenly stop? - No, so why do it with a shopping trolley?
2. When everyone else is driving at 40mph, do you dordle along at 15mph? - No, so why dordle along with a shopping trolley?
3a. When you stop to pick someone up on the side of the road, do you leave your car parked in the middle of the road? - No, so why leave your trolley in the middle of the aisle when you picking your fruit and veg?
3b. Following on from 3a, when stopping to pick said person up on the side of the road, do you park you position your car at 90 degrees to on coming traffic so noone can get past? - No, so why do it with a shopping trolley?
4. When driving along, do you suddenly slam on your breaks and perform a U-turn in the middle of the road? - No, so why do it in the middle of an aisle with a shopping trolley?
Rant over. As you were people.
