I'd be concerned if we had been outplayed throughout.
In a game involving two very good tactical managers you are bound to lose the odd one when the system changes.
Lambert had far more to lose than Hughton tonight as it buys him some faith and time.
Its quite possible that Villa wont get another point until the first week of the New Year with their run of fixtures. Far better to be looking up in the Prem than looking down with a possibility of a league cup final.
