I once tried to explain to my sister's kids about when they installed 'coin nets'

in front of the Barclay. Coin nets. To protect the opposing goalkeeper from being hit by coins thrown from the stands.

I then explained how if you got the angle right and threw it really high you still had a chance, as someone demonstrated to me.
