Official Pre-season Tour 2005

Friday 15th July

Depart Travel Norwich City at 7am for Dover and the short sea crossing to
Calais and onwards to our hotel for the next 5 nights the NH Koningshof at
Veldhoven.

Saturday 16th July

A free day to relax and enjoy the hotels facilities, or take advantage of
the coach transfer into Eindhoven and explore the city at your leisure.
Transfer to pre-season match number 1 in the evening. (Venue and Team TBA).

Sunday 17th July

A full day's excursion to Marken, Volendam and Zaans Schaans.
Firstly we visit the village of Marken where timbered buildings are built on
wooden piles and you can view the interior of a typical Marken House.
We continue to the picturesque fishing village of Volendam. Many of the
inhabitants still wear the traditional local Dutch costume and you can
sample superb fish dishes, open prawn sandwiches or genuine Dutch apple pie
and whipped cream.
Then it is an unforgettable journey through the Polderlands to visit
windmills, a fishing village by Zuider Zee, visit a cheese farm and watch
the making of genuine Dutch clogs. Our day finishes at the windmill museum
of Zaans Schaans, an unrivalled collection of windmills in the reconstructed
18th century Dutch village.

Monday 18th July

A trip to Amsterdam leaving around noon from the hotel and returning late
evening, giving you the opportunity to see Amsterdam by day and night. The
coach will take you on a comprehensive Guided City Tour to see the many
places of interest such as the flea market, the floating flower market, the
Royal Palace, the Rijks Museum and the former Jewish quarter plus a guided
tour of a diamond factory. Also there is an opportunity to take a canal
cruise through parts of this lovely city (additional cost 6.5 Euros). Free
time is allowed for visiting museums etc or to shop and explore and have
dinner before returning the hotel late evening.

Tuesday 19th July

Day at leisure. Evening transfer to pre-season friendly match. (Venue and
team TBA).

Wednesday 20th July

After a leisurely breakfast we head home via Dover and back to Norwich City
Football Club.

Places are limited on this official pre-season tour.

Tour cost per person ?299. Based on two sharing a twin or double room.

Single rooms available at ?449 per person.

These prices include an early booking discount of ?20 per person and must be
booked and paid for by the 21st May. After that twin/double rooms are ?319
per person and single rooms ?469 per person.

Travel insurance is extra.
